This is offered as a package: saddle bag AND mohair girth, for a 15% savings. Although several bags and matching girths are available in inventory, custom orders are encouraged. Choose size of bag, color of suede, artwork design, and color palette to match a special horse, saddle pad, saddle, or other tack.
When you are riding all day in all kinds of weather, a saddlebag takes abuse — rain, snow, mud, horse sweat. These bags are waterproof, scratch resistant, sweat resistant, easy to clean, and convenient. They will hold a tracking collar for dogs, a GPS tracking device, a phone, water bottle, keys, a wallet, a hoof pick, a knife, latigo, food, insect repellent, a flash light, horse snacks and more! The flap is long and heavy so it will stay down on its own without a buckle, since a buckled saddlebag can get caught on brush or tree branches.

Mohair Girth
Available in English or Western rigging, custom sizing
This is a roping-style girth. The D rings at the center of the girth accommodate tie downs, breast collars, rear cinches, and mounting straps.
Girth is constructed from:
- 100% mohair cinch cord
- wide selection of custom colors for mohair cord
- the highest quality leather available - 10 oz, heavily oiled Wickett and Craig leather
- black or brown leather
- solid brass or stainless steel hardware attached with nylon webbing
Girth should be ordered in a size that allows only 6” from bottom of rigging to top of girth buckle.
These girths are woven on a loom, then leather components are stitched using a heavy duty leather stitcher.
